Tectonic Bloom

Tectonic Bloom is a 30 x 30 cm mixed media artwork, where a small tectonic drama is unfolding in texture and stone against a delicate, pale sky. Cracked, earth-like surfaces meet clusters of mica rock, clear and smoky quartz, chalky green nontronite and a raw slab of gypsum, each bringing its own weight and presence. Glossy resin runs through the piece like molten rivers or neural pathways of the earth, binding and dividing the terrain at once. Rough and smooth. Matte and luminous. Fragile and solid. A suspended moment where pressure, movement and matter meet.
